If you are a frequent Xbox Live user, you have no doubt felt the recent pain of intermittent Live downtime. This came as quite a disappointment to the myriad Live users excited to test out some of the games they received over the holidays. Apparently Microsoft knows how to sympathize, as an unnamed worker at Microsoft has stated:
…we will definitely be doing something for our Gold members that weren’t able to get online over the last week.
Although some type of compensation seems only fair, there has literally been no further mention of this news anywhere else. Details are completely absent, but this news sure comes as a treat. It is also quite confusing about how Microsoft will go about issuing this compensation, as they still have not officially acknowledged that Live was ever down. All we can do now is begin making some predictions on what the gift could be.
