When Stranglehold was first annouced, I was very skeptical because I thought it was just going to be another lame action game with a Chow Yun-Fat twist. However, that turned out to be exactly what I wanted after the demo was released. And then, I was very disappointed when it was delayed for all the consoles.  As a solution to all my probelems Stranglehold has officially gone gold for the Xbox 360 as Midway annouced today. The game is set to come out for the X360 on Septemeber 5th. That piece of good news was only true for the Xbox 360 version because the PC and the PS3 versions were delayed.  The PC version was pushed back till September 18th and the PS3 version has been pushed back till September 25th.
