In late January, anyone with a new Slim PSP will be able to access Skype with a software update. There is no word to why the original PSP won’t be able to access Skype, but I’m pretty sure a hack will come along. Skype is definitely promising on the PSP giving it a lot of phone capabilities via SkypeOut/In. Still remaining unanswered are the questions on how much it will slow down the PSP, if it will run in the background, and if the quality will resemble any of the movies Gary Coleman has been in.
