Loading ...Now that the GOTYs for each console are announced, lets take a look at the best games in each genre that shipped this year. In a year with so many games that knocked our socks off, the games that rise to the top really are the cream of the gaming crop. Here are our picks for the best titles in each genre:
First Person Shooter – Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare [Xbox 360/PS3/PC] & Halo 3 [Xbox 360]
Real Time Strategy – World in Conflict [PC]
Role Playing Game – Mass Effect [Xbox 360]
Action Adventure – Uncharted: Drakes Fortune [PS3]
Platformer – Super Mario Galaxy [Wii]
Music/Rythm – Rock Band [Xbox 360/PS3]
There are the Rotpod GOTYs in each genre for 2007. There were a ton of games to shuffle through, so these were not easy decisions to make, but I believe the correct winners were chosen. Don’t miss the decision for the overall Rotpod GOTY later GOTY.
