PGR 4 is turning out to look like one of the best racers to ever come out, but that has recently been over shadowed by GT5. But, I still love PGR and Bizarre Creations, developer for PGR, just announced the final track list for the game.
- Macau, China
- Las Vegas, USA
- London, England
- St. Petersburg, Russia
- Tokyo, Japan
- New York, USA
- Shanghai, China
- Quebec, Canada
- Nurburgring, Germany
Update: Bizzare Creations has put the DVD constraint worries to rest with recent comments on the issue.
This puts the city list at 9 and features a Michelin Test Track, also. With these tracks and the games other features like bikes, the great weather effects and time-of-day racing, makes this game look like a serious competitor to other great racing games out there with a little more appeal to the casual racing fan. The time-of-day racing was also commented on by Bizarre in a slightly negative tone towards DVD’s. Bizarre mentioned how they were not able to have different times of day for all cities because the new textures that had to be created would not fit onto a single DVD. This signals a problem that the 360 has because it does not have HDDVD or Bluray games. Although, HDDVD games are possible with the purchase of the add-on, I doubt any developers would seriously consider releasing a game on HDDVD. But anyway you can check out this game in September.
