Mark Rein made a post on the Official Gear of War forums today detailing a soon to come update for Epic’s blockbuster shooter. Everyone was expecting a patch to fix the many glitches still remaining in the game, but few saw a new gametype coming. You heard right, just in time for the 1st Xbox Live Gears of War tourney comes a new gametype called ‘Annex’, which has gotten ‘good feedback’ according to Rein. More details will reportedly show up next week, but all the recent GOW news is enough to keep any fan excited about what’s to come.
