As of 6:30 P.M. EST Xbox Live is having problems again and the support site has been updated to elaborate. The problems listed on the site are not the only issues because some people are being completely shut out from Xbox Live. This is the third time Xbox Live has been having issues during the Holiday season and it could be a result of the extra Xbox 360’s and Xbox Live subscriptions in the pipeline, but it’s not a mystery to Microsoft how many new people are signing into Xbox Live. The problems do seem like classic server problems where some people keep getting kicked off Live, others can’t go into matchmaking, etc, but seeing that Xbox Live is a paid service, Microsoft should offer some sort of compensation or maybe a solution that stops these types of outages from happening again…and again… and again.
