Loading ...Well I got God Of War II, played it, beat it, and am now ready to review it(stay tuned for the next podcast for that review). I failed to get a 999,999 hit combo however, which I think is crazy in any circumstance, but someone has managed to do it and they show it in this video:
The crazy thing about this video, besides the actual getting of a 999,999 hit combo, is that the website URL “www.islandofrhodes.org” is shown. Upon visiting this website, you will see a counter that is counting to April 11, 2007. Now what will happen on this date? Who knows. Will it be amazing? Hopefully. And will I try to get a 999,999 combo now? Yes.
There is some speculation on what can this countdown is actually for. Many think it is just a viral marketing scheme, others believe that it could have something to do with the PSP God of War game that is planed for later this year. However, no-one knows for sure since this could just be a big hoax. Or it could be this crazy leprechaun’s scheme when he snuck into Sony Santa Monica and added this to the game without anyone’s knowledge. Either way I’m excited just because I love God of War.

Look I don’t know what this thing is but I am excited about it. I mean when it comes to GodofWar you can’t help but be excited. But if it is some marketing scheme then who ever did it needs to burn in Hades. GodofWar and GodofWar2 are probley the best games in histroy and I for one am looking forwarn not only to what ever this is but future titles as well. Hell I hope we get to GodOfWar33. And I can’t wait for the Movie whick just started production. LONG LIVE CRATOS!!!!!!!!!!
its the countdown to the uk release
It’s not the PSP. The site shows an ESRB rating of “M”. The PSP version hasn’t been rated yet, ESRB said so. Secondly, why would they make a suer-secret announcement for the Euro release? All that for releasing it in the UK? I don’t think so. It’s also for the PS2 (There’s a PS2 logo on the bottom of the site. Inquiries prove the site belongs to Sony. And since the timer is based on your own computer’s clock, it’s probably counting down to an announcement.
I beat the game on april 10th and went online looking at site to see what else there was to the game b/c the ending left me wishing for more of at least hoping that there is more. so i found this website deal and it was counting down for me and it is now april 12 and at 12:22 in the morning and nothin happend???????? Any way i still think the game was kick ass and waitin for more to come.
fuck sony……….the timer keeps going…………….just another marketing strategy to increase sales……..nothing for the fans…………..
It is just the makers of the game talking about what they had to cut out, parts they worked, etc. The reason why it has a mature rating and a PS2 symbol because it’s just GoW2.

that’s not all of it. after the slider puzzle you come to a page with roman numerals on the bottom of the page and an input box below them. the numerals refer to a letter within the text, starting from the beginning of the paragraph (not including the title page or previous button). example: the first numeral on mine was XII = 12 which got to the A in creation. then you get a cheat mode to unlock 480P resolution on GoW2 and another timer
mistake made on the numeral part: it’s the first letter of the ‘numeral’th word, so XII = 12 = the first letter of the twelfth word (all)
hmm…i still can’t seem to get mine, maybe i’m counting wrong, but it’s probably another piece to the puzzle. maybe the letters you get are scrambled up. not entirely sure. but my friend had athena as an example. (if it doesn’t work like that, just guess gods/titans till it works maybe?)
