Last week the Halo 3 Beta came out and since then 7th columnist has been going crazy searching through the code for more details about the game. Some of them are really great and answer basically everything we wanted for the game and others are just informative. Hit the link to see it all

There is also a pretty well known glitch that occurs in the menu settings when you can’t connect to someone because of an error in their NAT settings and it displays all the custom game settings. Here are the settings that can be seen in the menus when this error occurs:
-Damage resistance
-Shield multiplier
-Shield recharge rate
-Immune to headshots
-Grenade counts
-Infinite ammo
-Weapon pickup disabled
-Player speed (25%, 50%, 75%, 90%, 100%, 110%, 125%, 150%, 200%, 300%)
-Player gravity (50%, 100%, 200%)
-Vehicle use (passenger only)
-Motion tracker range (10m, 25m, 75m, 100m, 150m)
-Appearance
– Vis effects (black glow, team glow, white glow)
- -Active camo (good camo that might fool an elite, poor camo that might fool a grunt, invisible)
-Indestructible vehicles (on, off)
Clearly some of the really cool settings are the speed and gravity changes. Since, they cannot actually be used in the game yet, we have yet to see how they can alter gameplay, but we hope they will be really fun.
Now lets move on to the campaign. 7th Columnist has uncovered the achievements of the game and then consequently the levels for completeing them. Here is a list of the achievements first:

The first achievements on the list seem to indicate, the campaign levels in the game, but hoepfully not all of them because they’re only 8 levels and this doesn’t leave much confidence in the campaign, but here are the levels.

Now that you know the levels, it would be great to know about Co-op and a major thing about this co-op is the 4 Player Cooperative Play over Xbox Live!!! A feature that everybody wanted is answered and now you will be able to play the campaign with 3 other people over Xbox Live or System Link, but only 2 people on a single console.

This list of weapons shows the return of the flamethrower and also the fuel rod cannon. And we also see two new weapons the gravity hammer and the excavator! Well I have no idea what the excavator does, but I imagine the gravity hammer to be like the gravity gun in Half-Life 2 or something like that. These guns will surely be amazing in multiplayer as will the new armor custimizations that will be available. The final thing that 7th columnist uncovered was the new types of armor for the Spartan are Cobra, Intruder, Ninja and Regulator.
This news really isn’t that important for multiplayer, but can maybe even hint at some new things in the storyline. We will just have to wait and see and also wait because there may be many more things hidden in the code of the Halo 3 Multiplayer beta.
