There are many gamers among us who believe that the end of this year will be one of the greatest seasons in the industry’s history. Well my friends, I think we can safely say that the storm has officially begun. If there is any game capable of signaling the complete and utter end to a summer gaming drought, BioShock is it.
As the first of the E3 uber-hyped games to come out this season, BioShock had a lot to live up to. Luckily, the game does not fall short of it’s expectations at all. From its epic plotline to its refreshingly original style of play, this action RPG/shooter delivers more than its fair share of excitement during its 15-20 hour run. The action doesn’t have to stop there either, as there is definitely something to be said about BioShock’s replay value as well. Let’s take an in depth look at the different elements that make this game the blockbuster hit that it is.
