A new football game has been anounced from EA, but don’t expect this title to challenge Madden’s gameplay, as it is soley an arcade-style sports game designated for the less hardcore gamer. Tour is slated for an early 2008 release, and will be available for the Xbox 360 and Ps3. The game is flaunting an all new and more inovative control scheme that is less complicated than Madden’s. Think the difference between 2k Sports’ The Bigs and MLB 2k7.
The real question is: How will this compare with Blitz?

Everything but MGS 4 is here, but fret not, a new trailer is on it’s way and will be shown at the Sony keynote tommarow. Other than that, you can expect the following to be unveiled at the Konami press conference:
- Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (PSP; Fall 2007)
- Contra 4 (DS; 2007)
- Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party (Wii; Fall 2007)
- Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2 (PS2; Fall 2007)
- Dewy’s Adventure (Wii; Fall 2007)
- Fishing Master (Wii; Fall 2007)
- Hellboy: The Science of Evil (working title) (PS3, Xbox 360, PSP; 2007)
- Konami Kids Playground (PS2; Fall 2007)
- Silent Hill Origins (PSP; Fall 2007)

Gamerscore blog has been hanging around the Microsoft guys while they set up for their big Press Conference tonight, and they may have made an intriguing discovery. The snapped some photos of the stage setup, and there appear to be four different types of 360 SKUs on display. From the pics posted on their Flickr, we can see the Core, Premium (Pro), and Elite models, and the fourth has a black finish which looks much darker than the elite. Perhaps a shiny finish?
Could we see a super 360 coming out to replace the Elite’s price range, as the Elite drops to $400? Maybe one with HDMI 1.3, more USB ports, an internal HD DVD drive?
Who knows? We will find out tonight when the press conference begins!
Update: I actually can’t tell which of the two black/gray Xbox 360’s is the elite, as the elite looks gray in the light and black in the dark. Perhaps this new SKU has the same shell as the elite did, but I don’t think that there would be two elite’s on display at once.
Final Update: New Xbox 360 is special edition halo xbox 360. It is spartan green with orange highlights. No word on whethe or not it is elite or pro.

IGN was able to play a demo of Assassins’s Creed today and their was a lot of praise for it. They say that the way you can interact with the world in so many ways is amazing, with the ability to climb or interact with anything that is two inches or bigger. Another major feature of the game was the scale of the city that the demo was in. The city is described as being huge and beautiful with so much to do. After reading the preview and checking out the new screens, I am more excited for this game than ever.

“Since Metal Gear Solid was born for the PlayStation, we would like to keep it a PlayStation game. But we might have to take some steps,” Kitaue said in an interview with Yahoo! pre-E3 2007. That statement could signal definite loss of the PS3 in the console war, because it hints at the loss of the only major exclusive title that the PS3 has left to offerto gamers. In the interview with Yahoo, Kitaue expresses his disappointment in the PS3’s sales and how he fears this would hurt his product, MGS4, if it was released as an exclusive Playstation title. He also does not see much to be excited about with the PS3’s new price drop because he explains that it only made way for another, more expensive model. Even though this could end up being a really sad day for PS3 gamers, the game is still slated for March 2008 as an exclusive title on the PS3.
