Ever since Gmail’s release on April 1st, 2004, it has been praised for offering “unlimited” storage for mail. Unlimited in quotes because the storage is ever growing but is generally regarded as 2GB. Since GMail’s release though, the other free webmail services have also increased their storage capacity like Yahoo! which now boasts truly unlimited storage. Now did you really think Google would sit back and let this happen? Some GMail users are now reporting 9GB of storage or 9030 MB of it exactly; however, this is not a widespread event and everyone who has this much storage seems to be chosen at random. Let’s just cross our fingers this goes through.
