Rumors about the gPhone aka Google phone aka phone by Google have been more popular than Paris Hilton sex tapes. These began with a rumor that the phone would be annouced in September and ever since then it’s been crazy. The next story hit that Google was partnering with people in India to release the phone. This was proven false because the date of the original article was from March. Next, CrunchGear posted that an HTC insider said that they had shipped Google several prototypes of phones and they were testing them out. Another valued source said the same thing about Samsung making prototypes for Google. And today, Engadget posted a story about Google definetly working on a Linux-based OS for the phone. And with all these stories coming up around the same time, I think everything falls into place for the rumored Google Phone to be hitting the market.

PS- Not to mention that Google will be bidding on part of the wireless spectrum in January.
